This orientation consists of a general overview that highlights the Health & Safety Program. Following the completion of the general orientation, users are prompted to select which project they will be working on. This brings them to site a specific orientation which offers specific information about the project.
There are short quizzes at the end of each section. These are not meant to be skill testing questions, but rather for general comprehension of the safety program.
This is an example of how Andersen Construction is using Online Orientation for their subcontractors. With savings of at least $300,000 combined in direct and indirect costs associated with training their subcontractors it has been a win win. Their training includes topics such as:
- Incident Reporting
- Fall Protection and Scaffolding
- Confined Spaces
- Controlling Air Contaminants
