Every California Community College is required to maximize the probability that a student will enter and complete transfer-level coursework in English and Math within a one year time-frame. In order to achieve this goal, one or more of the following measures must be used:
- High school coursework
- High school grades
- High school grade point average

All California Community colleges are required to be in compliance with AB 705 no later than fall of 2019.
